Barabati Fort is a 13th-century fort built by the rulers of the Eastern Ganga dynasty in Cuttack, Odisha, India.
Now, only the ruins of the fort remain with its moat, gate. There is a well maintained park around the fort.
There is also a temple dedicated to Katak Chandi, the presiding deity of the city, not far away from the fort.
It is on the banks of river Mahanadi and hence, provide nice photo opportunities. A tiny deer park is also nearby which is an attraction for children.
