Archaeological Museum and Portrait Gallery is near the popular tourist centre. It is near Baslica of Bom Jesus, the most visited church in Goa, Old Goa church and St. Augustine tower.
The museum is housed in a building with Portuguese’s architecture. It is well maintained and has a brilliant collection of wooden sculptures.
