Akhand Chandi Palace in Chamba! was built during the reign of Raja Umedh Singh in the mid-1700s, this palace is a true masterpiece of Mughal architecture. But it also got some British influence, thanks to renovations and additions made by Raja Sham Singh and British engineers. It was a culture melting pot!

The Zanana Mehal was added during the rule of Raja Bhuri Singh, and the royal family eventually sold the palace to the government. It’s now home to a college and a library, but you can still feel the regal energy as you explore the premises.
