Meenmutty Falls is in Banasura hills in north Kerala near the Karnataka border. One can take the Wayanad road and reach Thondernadu and take Ubacha road to reach the waterfalls. The waterfalls is on a river stream of Kabini river from the Banasura hills. It is a scenic place with lush greenery and blue waters. One can also visit Banasura dam during the trip. One can also climb the mountain to view the Banasura dam from the hill top. The climb is guided by rope-rails for easy access. It is a good place to enjoy a picnic or spend few hours with nature.
