Madammakkulam Waterfalls is another brilliant waterfalls in Peermedu in Idukki district of Kerala.
From Thekkady, it is roughly 43 kilometers. From Munnar one can reach Pallikannu, via Elappara, Memala and then trek few 100 meters you will reach waterfalls. Overall it is roughly 100 kilometers.
Pallikenu is a place, where there are lot of homestays and resorts and adventure activities. There are also other interesting scenic spots like Urumbi Hill Palace, Valanjankanam waterfalls, Thekkady, and other waterfalls.
Though, a little distant from normal base stations, do not miss this waterfall. It is worth to spend time traveling here.
