Srimanthi Bhai Memorial Government Museum, Mangalore

The museum is a old house of Colonel V R Mirajkar. He has collected many collection of antiques and contemporary masterpieces during his trips within and outside India, while serving as a medical officer in British Army during second world war. Later he has donated the house to government. It contains Tulunadu’s unique Bootharathane idol.

You will get a feel of visiting international museum, as some of the artefacts are collected from all over the world.
