Kalhatti Falls is one of the attractions of Ooty in Tamil Nadu. It can be reached by Ooty-Mysore road via Masinangudi. The winding ghats road with deep hair pin bends demands a break and what better than a trek of 3 kilometers in forest trail and a mesmerizing waterfalls to refresh. It is a seasonal waterfall during monsoons. During summer, there will only be a trickle of water.
There are two pathways – one with steps and another nature trail for trekkers. The pathways to the waterfalls is good way to enjoy the chill climate of Ooty and be with nature. There is enough bio diversity with various types of flower plants, shrubs and trees to keep you interested.
