Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary is near Kadalundi island on Kadalundi river in Kozhikode in north Kerala. It is a beautiful place with a unique river and backwater wetland eco system, which attracts migratory birds.

One can also enjoy a boat ride during sunset. But it is possible only during high tides. The boat charges are around INR 800/- per trip for a group of 4-7, for an hour.

It is very near Kadalundi railway station. It is walkable distance from the railway station. Kozhikode International Airport is 12 kilometers away.

Any boat ride and their charges ?

Yes. There are boat rides in manual rowing boat for a group of 7-12. It costs INR 800/- to INR 1500/- per hour, depending on the number of people. The boatride is a must during migratory season to enjoy the birds.
