Edakkal Caves is an ancient cave belonging to stone age which has rock carvings of pre historic period (petroglyph) on a high mountain and one can reach it by trekking hard. It is near Kalpetta, one can reach it on the way from Sultan Battery or entering Kerala from Karnataka. There are many view points and resorts around this place.
The view around the rocky caves and boulders are breathtaking. It will be favorite place for adventure seekers. It has around 380 steps to reach the top.
