Serenity Beach is little north of Pondicherry but in Kottakuppam in Tamil Nadu. It is the beach where one see the beautiful sun rise from Bay of Bengal.
It is a popular joint for foreigners, as it is also a place good for surfing the sea with high waves. The beach has rocky boulder which protrudes into sea for 150 feet. One can walk till the edge to enjoy the view.
There are not many street vendors, so pack /buy food from main road.
