Kappad Beach is near Chemanchari in Kozhikode district of Kerala. For the history lovers, the beach also has a memorial which indicates the landing point of Vasco da Game to India. He landed in Kerala in they year 1498 at Kappakadavu.
It is rated as a blue flag beach and one of the cleanest beach in India. It has some good seating facility, It is a ticketed beach and a entry fee of INR 50/- for adult. There is a small tea shop inside the beach as well. There are some area for free entry as well.
