Gulab Bagh Zoo and Garden is in Udaipur in Rajasthan.

With its endless rows of fragrant roses, this place will leave you smelling sweet all day long. And don’t worry, if you’re not a fan of flowers, there’s more to this garden than just the blooms. The Kamal Talai, an enormous artificial lake, adds a regal touch to this already magnificent garden, while the Navlakha Mahal offers a peaceful space for parents to reflect.

Get ready to come face-to-face with zebras, rhinos, ostriches, black leopards, and other rare species from around the world. With wide-eyed owls and more, this zoo has something for everyone.

And if you’re not in the mood for a walk, why not hop on the toy train for a merry ride? The tagline says it all: “Bacchon ki Rail Gaadi, Bade bhi Karein Sawari.” Young or old, everyone can enjoy this little train that takes you around the park. Starting at the Luv Kush Station, you’ll get to see all that the Gulab Garden and Zoo have to offer.

The Lotus Pond, or Kamal Talai, is shaped like an oval and boasts four different bridges to cross over the pond. The Miraj Jyotish Upvan is a garden where plants with medicinal benefits are grown, and the pathway around the park offers free acupressure therapy for those who walk on it. And if you’re a history buff, the Saraswati Bhawan Library is a must-visit. With its awe-inspiring architecture and treasure trove of books and manuscripts, this library is sure to take your breath away.
